SI Vascular Care provides specialist assessment and management of arterial, venous, diabetic foot conditions and dialysis or vascular access.
Care is individualized, with treatment recommendations tailored to patient’s clinical situation and preferences. There is focus on appropriate investigation, clear communication, and evidence-based treatment.
Many vascular conditions can be managed conservatively without procedural intervention. Where intervention is required, both open surgical and minimally invasive (endovascular) treatments are available.

A multidisciplinary wound care service has been initiated periodically to support comprehensive limb preservation and chronic wound management.

Dr Samiul Islam is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Vascular Surgery. He provides specialist care in arterial, venous and diabetic foot conditions, with experience in both open and endovascular procedures.
Care plan is evidence-based and individualised, with treatment recommendations tailored to each patient’s clinical situation and preferences.
Dr Islam works closely with general practitioners, physicians, podiatrists and allied health team members to provide coordinated care.
Vascular ultrasound is performed at onsite vascular laboratory as part of specialist assessment and ongoing management.
Studies are carried out in collaboration with specialist vascular sonographer and are tailored to the clinical question and interpreted in clinical context.
Ultrasound assessment with doppler enabled machine, in conjunction with specialist vascular sonographer and vascular surgeon assessment, assists in diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing surveillance where appropriate.
A multidisciplinary wound care service has been established which runs periodically to support comprehensive limb preservation and chronic wound management.
This service aims to provide dedicated care for complex and non-healing chronic wounds, combining advanced clinical assessment with highly targeted therapeutic interventions.
Referrals are welcome from general practitioners, specialists, nurse practitioners and allied health clinicians. Urgent cases are prioritised.
